The "good news" is that the market is performing a "Fed's easing" for us: Bonds up, bill rates down. Watch gold today also. Fears of Hong Kong banking problems spilling into Japan are also undermining confidence. (Forty percent of Hong Kong banking debt is owed to Japanese banks.) Looks like the market is going to remind us all about risk/reward tradeoffs. Good long term investing all.
