Dave, to make a joke, you are <<skeptical of desert dirt golds>> only because you did not invest into this stuff years ago at a price of $1+ or $10+, and see it go down to small pennies after the Bre-X scandal.
That IPMCF stock of the IPM Company, I started buying it after it went under the $1 mark, and continued to buy more as it continued to drop lower and lower. At present the company is in Bankruptcy Chapter 11.
I mention this because of the statement that you made, which is true.
<<... no one really makes any money on these things.>>
Now considering that the Bumbat mine in Mongolia and new exploration of VMS work in the NWT is the type of mining that has already delivered profits to companies, I would suggest that the desert dirt activities may result in more than the current highly successful results of the fleecing of money from investors.
Along these lines I put out the possibility that in the near, as in a couple years, that sources of gold and other precious metals may be knowned as existing in the desert dirts. Their extraction at a profit for large amounts will of course be needed to happen, but whether or not these minerals exist in large quanities to be viewed as resources to match in amounts those of existing mines may already be knowned.
At present I know that you have not the time or concern to investigate this since whether or not true, it will change affect the present activities for this company. But later you may be suprised of certain activity that makes the mining news. Eventho the Brooklyn Bridge has been sold and invested into many times over the years, this desert dirt stuff may be the "real deal", as in "yes its true, and yes you can invest your money, and yes you must wait and wait, and yes you will see your investment as a near total lost, and yes this was part of the marketing plan, and yes those who know the truth will deny it and hide it and wait, and NO the just mentioned will not be allowed to accomplish their business plan."
As a footnote, the above IPM'ish "look into" has unexpectedly identified stuff of a similiar "business plan", but then when one steps back for a broader view, "but of course" this is the nature of gold and riches that has molded and shaped mankind for ages.
I do my own battle, as in ingage to protect myself. Others ? Using that DD words, do you own due dilligence, all I can say is like those in the X Files ... "trust ???", but maybe its better said in that Babayon 5 spin off ... Who do you trust ? Who do you work for ?
