The skeptical fan club. I am with Sean and the gang on this one. Just leave the computer on with everything the way you want it. It has got to be superior to suspend to disc. I use a similar approach with my browser windows. I leave them all open and disconnect from the web. When I reconnect all the browsers are the way I left them. This works great until Netscape crashes..which it always does and takes down all of the browser windows..that reminds me...Opera:) To save juice I configure my harddrives to spin down after an hour and manually turn off the monitor when I leave the computer.
