Using my logical brain, I think the the conservatives in this country have given up fighting at the state and local level, so they're putting all their eggs in Trump's basket. So I think Trump is the last gasp fight against Communism. After all, most large cities are already run by Democrat Mayors and all our universities are 99% left/Communist. So that is going to be hard to undo. Once Trump leaves office in 2024, we'll most likely get a Communist in power and then we will become Venezuela. Every state and city will look like Portland and Seattle after 5-10 years of their one party rule.

However, I hope against logic that I am wrong and that the conservatives in this country rise up and fight back at EVERY level to elect sane and normal people who stand with law abiding, Constitutionalist citizens. That is certainly why I don't give up, though my logic dictates the probability of us reversing this trend is only slight.
