Tim, the whole thing was a PR stunt which was crafted to give the impression that the war was over. Else Bush wouldn't have made the claim "In the Battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.". The amount of lying and weaseling was astonishing, I am shocked that the media never really picked up on it. Like who was responsible for the banner and why he flew in on the jet. Which they did their best to give the appearance that he took the trap himself.
