You can't discuss the prospects of a company without considering the competitive landscape. It's not useful to consider Intel/AMD or Microsoft/Netscape or Pheonix/SystemSoft without considering the other company. You also stated that, "The reason PTEC stock price is low is because PTEC is in the wrong business." I don't think you've considered the PTEC chart. Pheonix has doubled in the last 12 months. It's not a low-price stock.
