NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2002--Metromedia Fiber Network, Inc. (MFN) (Nasdaq: MFNX - news), the leading provider of digital communications infrastructure solutions, will provide metropolitan fiber to RealNetworks®, Inc., supporting the Company's real.com and realnetworks.com Web sites.
Under the multi-year agreement, MFN will lease fiber to RealNetworks, providing a bandwidth solution that will satisfy its current and future communications needs. MFN's unshared, unmetered and virtually unlimited bandwidth provides a fully scalable infrastructure for RealNetworks.
