BACRDI Ron, Bill made promises to a lot of people he fully intended to keep. Then the catch 22 problem with the SC DEHC appeared and GRNO was forced to shut down. GRNO tried to move to its present site but were held up as the Exxom bureauocracy went through the process of approving GRNO's sublease. While that was going on, GRNO tired to do R&D by remote control and the Thermatrix thermal oxidizer malfunctioned. So even though many promises were made in good faith, when you are up against bureauocracy and Murphy's Law, progress and promises take a back seat. Speaking of Murphy's Law, there is an article in this month's print edition of Scientific American discussing some scientific underpinnings of Murphy's Law. Charles
