I like it. The video and audio quality are excellent-- audio CDs sound much better than on my Sony CD player. I use an S-video connection to my TV and the video quality, colors, and detail are great. After you watch DVDs, you will be bothered by VCRs and regular TV signals. The 927 (and 907??) has a built-in AC-3 decoder. The controls are straightforward. What do I wish it had? -- a smoother fast forward -- it looks it displays only I-frames, although you can do slow motion single-step frame-by-frame -- a reverse slow motion (but this is not too important) -- DTS audio -- I don't care now, but I may in the future -- a 5 or 6 disc changer (Sony has a DVD changer)... then I would ditch my Sony CD player. I'm sure that new models are coming from Samsung and every other manufacturer. It's the name of the game in electronics.........
