God has created all things.
Some say that it was inspired by God, but who said that? Those that wrote the Bible said that, not God. All those authors had to go on, were oral legends that were tens of thousands years old.
the earth is not even tens of thousands of years old, so i have no idea what you're talking about.
like any story that is told. The actual events depicted by the story are slightly altered with every telling of the story
not so with the bible. the holy spirit assured that the precepts in the bible would remain accurately preserved. this has been verified when the dead sea scrolls were found including the complete book of isaiah. the scroll of isaiah is essentially identical to translations we have today, a couple of thousand years later.
Even today, there are preachers who rail that smoking, and drinking, are sins. The Bible does not say that, so it is human tampering with religion
well then follow the bible, don't follow the preacher! why would you reject the bible just because some preacher has a point of view different from yours.

but if the Bible is so inviolate, why are there so many denominations, sects, and cults, that use it in any way they please?
because man is fallen in nature. don't kill the messenger! (in other words don't blame the scriptures for the faults of men).
Why do men build huge cathedrals, and buildings that are mistakenly called churches, and call them monuments to God, when they are nothing but monuments to men, because God, or Jesus, never asked for a monument. Jesus spoke, and did His miracles, out it the open, and He also said that His church would be made up of every individual that believed in Him, not a man made building. He said nothing about structures of steel, wood, brick, and concrete. All of these are elements of mans tampering with religion
i agree with you that christians these days are fixated on carnal or worldly worship, but i don't agree that Jesus would be displeased with a physical building called a church. the bible tells christians to assemble and exhort one another. how could this be possible in sub-zero temperatures or torrential downpours if there was no building to assemble in? how would anyone know where to go to gather and worship and teach and praise if there is no physical structure? be reasonable.
Such tampering has been going on for so many thousands of years, there is hardly a Christian on Earth that knows, much less believes, the true will of God.
well then why don't you take it upon yourself to instruct your christian brethren so that they may be sound in the faith?
God did not say that the earth was created in six days. The people that put the age old legend on paper, are the ones that said the Earth was created in six days
so if you want to pick and choose what parts of the bible to believe in, accepting some parts, but not others, why believe any of it at all?
Besides that, who can know how long a day is to God?

A day to God could be a million years to the simple minds of mankind.
i already addressed this in a previous post. since you seemed to have missed it, i will reiterate. first of all, read the first chapter of genesis. take note that God created all the vegetation on the third day. he didn't create the sun and the moon until the fourth day. so if according to you, a day in genesis really means a million years, then how is it that the vegetation created on the third day survived a million years until the fourth day, when God created the sun! can vegetation live 1 million years without any sun?

well then why don't you tell me what would satisfy you. do you want God to sit down and write the bible right in front of your eyes? it sounds to me like you seeketh after a sign. Jesus said an evil and adulterous nation seeketh after a sign, and there shall no sign be given to it! faith is the evidence of things not seen. without faith in Jesus Christ you are the one who is blinded.
