I am concerned that they released only a general summary and that the only numbers provided were the p values indicating the level of confidence and significance of the results. In this case, p=0.035 for the reduction in healing time. At first glance, this does not strike me as outstanding for such a large study. In the studies conducted in the Netherlands and Belgium which were published in 1996, which involved only 63 patients and 98 episodes, p=0.0003 for the difference in healing time between experimental and control associated with a first episode and p=0.02 for all 98 treatment episodes. (Lower p indicates greater confidence that the results are valid).

It may be that the big investors are waiting to see the real data. Perhaps someone with a more thorough knowledge of statistics could offer some insight?
