My former wife, when I met her, was studying a PhD just because the government paid her to study in a state university. My daughter told me she might asked me to support her in post graduation. I told her: Go work and then seek a post graduation by yourself, The Elmat cow was dry. No more milk. She got a job. Entry level jobs are shitty jobs but it is a rite of passage. If cocoon is comfy, people won't venture outside. The delta between comfy and entry level is huge. One feel it. Guess what? I still think about the times I had to pull jumpers inside the Master Distributor Frame of the Brazilian Telephone company. I know it is with the benefit of the hindsight, but I love it. You just had to deliver the work but had no responsibility. The older guys made street smart in short time.
