The market reminds me of a car losing traction rolling backwards while trying to climb a hill. As one passenger gets out to push, the vehicle rocks and digs a hole.. with an effort the passenger pushes harder, but once free there's not enough momentum to climb higher so the car falls back through the hole further down the hill and begins the process of digging in and rocking back and forth all over again.. if you look at this from the side its just like a chart of a sliding price.

More people need to get out of the vehicle to push and lighten the load.
