Reddy's lyrics were making the point that equal rights for women didn't gain a foothold until the 1920s in the US(in it's infancy)...being a highly civilized western culture, filled with intelligent American males, the advancement of rights was swift. In the Mid-east and African countries womens' rights are stuck in the stone ages...camels and water buffalo get far better treatment.
Perfect justice would be to strap burqa clad Islamic clerics into chairs, and play Reddy's video 24/7(in their language).<g>

P.S. I don't know Ms Mme's? SI history.
