re turf war ... between TI and INTC. Even if for academic purposes, I think it would be interesting to watch this unfold. Reasons : - INTC is the Gorilla for Microprocessors for PCs. - INTC has no dominance in the DSP area - TXN is the dominant player in the DSP area. Watching this turf war will help us clarify some issues : - Is INTC a Gorilla that used its power to dominate an adjacent technology area ? OR - Is INTC a Gorilla/King that tried to invade another royalty domain and got burnt ? cheers, kumar
