I don't have to admit Bush blundered in some way you have as yet to state in this discussion, at all, and won't(would be like giving you a blank check on the matter). If you believe Bush blundered because he should have moved on Iraq without seeking UN support(as Clinton did), then you imply that you don't value UN support. If you are saying that someone else could have convinced France, etc., where Bush could not, then you've got one hell of a case to make yet.

As for Daschle, if he saw no problem with Clinton's diplomacy leading up to Clinton's decision to bomb Iraq, then what's his real beef here and now? He hasn't said. You haven't said. He's a political animal who's analysis in this case contradicts itself without explanation, and thus does not represent fair debate at all(and his comments on the brink of war certainly were not helpful to the morale of our troops, as I described earlier). Period.
