Truth be told, some don't need a chat room. Some will look at a fee based room as an expense. Others might feel it an investment. Let's separate those two into 2 groups.
For the first group, that looks at paid rooms from the perspective as an expense, they may justify the expense like they do any other service. No one has unlimited quantities of money and will maximize the utility of this precious commodity.
In return, they get access to a great group of knowledgeable people who share similar goals and values. Much like a membership at a golf/tennis club. They know too that they will have access to personalized service that might be prohibitively expensive on a one on one basis. For example, one might expect to pay $150-200 an hour to get access to someone like myself as a professional in this field. So the fee would hold some merit on that basis. And most importantly, we have fun every day.
The other group, might consider the membership fees as a investment. At the end of each month, those will look at the result in their trading accounts. Those will decide for themselves if the investment proves wisely on a monthly basis.
For example, I started another challenge recently, which was to demonstrate that someone in our room, could make $500 a day with very few restrictions. I believe I have been successful in this endeavor, since beginning this challenge a few weeks ago.
To anyone deciding on this membership fee as an investment, would consider it well warranted given the immense return on the fee based again upon their returns.

We are all excited and dedicated to what I believe the only chosen field that puts everyone on even par, from the student who trades from his parents basement, to the investment dealers perched in their ivory towers on Wall Street.
We have just completed, what is probably the longest free trial in the western world. I have been doing this with out compensation for 5 years. Ironically, it was people here on SI that finally drove me into a membership fee based site.
I do hope this will put an end to some of our critics and tireless attacks from a few who seem have nothing better to do with their lives then criticize others.
