Actually, I don't get the confirms to my email. I get an email letter each day alerting me that my confirmations are ready to be printed. I then go to a secure site via their website to access the confirmations for the previous day. With the amount of trading I do between Etrade and Chiocetrade there is no way I could wait for snail mail to deliver them. I need to receive them within 24 hours so I can enter them into a sch D and keep up with them each day. I wouldn't worry about security regarding these documents because you access them the same way you access your trading platform.

But getting back to the original problem, Etrade should not have a problem changing your snail mail address. I would call them up and ask to speak with "technical" - don't explain it to one of those customer service reps who answer the phone.
