Hi all, WOW! the price has sure dropped, how low can it go? (so I can buy some :)

IMHO the issues that I see in this market segment (and NCDI) is:

1. The management capability of the PC is improving at a rapid pace so you can easily win the fat client argument now (NOVL have done this well with tools like ZEN works, etc...MSFT still coming!!??!)

2. The cost of a PC is not to far off or even the same as a NC/WBT and you get more bit's ie: hard drive, expandability, etc.

3. MSFT late in releasing Terminal Server.

4. Less revenue from WinCenter as MSFT & CTXS ramp up.

The advantages that are still with the NC/WBT camp are:

1. MSFT Support

2. Longer life cycles (ie: no need to upgrade desktops every 2-3 years

3. Not limited to 1 CPU

4. Ideal technology for specific markets ie: Hotel Rooms, Point of Sale, UNIX shops (for WinCenter/Explora)

Anyone care to comment?
