Janice - Your intentionalist post seems well intended and I tend to agree. Not real sure, but it might be a good argument for the contrarian philosophy.

I feel like we're all being worked over every day with all sorts of incomplete information and at times, misinformation. The first principle of good selling technique is "Never tell a prospect more than is needed to make a decision".

If, indeed, this is mostly what we are digesting as fact, it may be difficult to impossible to filter. So whatever you feel convinced to do because of all you've learned - maybe do the opposite and probably come out ahead most of the time.

Is anybody confused yet?
