To All, They released this from the recent conference call after hour s today: Wednesday September 4 5:02 PM EDT Paracelsian Offers Additional Information From Conference Call Broad Interest In Company's Scientific Progress ITHACA, N.Y., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Paracelsian Inc recently held a conference call which focused on the scientific breakthroughs of the Company. John Babish, V.P. and Chief Science Officer, highlighted the discovery and development of therapeutic compounds for the treatment of the HIV-1 virus. The following are a few excerpts from the call: "Paracelsian found that our PN355 (AndroVir(TM)) actively prevents the destruction of the immune system by the HIV virus as well as HIV replication. This was further confirmation of our work on AndroVir(TM) in HIV in the laboratory and gave us additional excitement about our current clinical trials that are ongoing in Seattle. "We are excited about the screening results using the NIH model of HIV cell killing and our ability to identify compounds that inhibit the destruction of the immune system by the virus. "Because our Traditional Chinese Medicine extracts are natural products, we can put these compounds into the market through the Dietary Supplement Health Education Act of 1994 and move a product into clinical trials within 9 to 12 months of discovery.
