Have you thought about how many people hate the US? And of that number, how many of those are ready to act on their hate and how many will never do anything? Are you then able to discern which ones you will kill and which ones you will simply monitor? Or do you kill the lot of them because that's the easiest and cleanest approach?

If we wanted to "kill the lot" of them we could just nuke the region. That's not the point. It is necessary to do the hard work of sorting out the good from the evil.

We know we are at greatest risk from the extremist Islamist elements and, accordingly, these individuals must be carefully considered and in some cases, locked up killed, harshly interrogated, or whatever.

The main point is that the Left doesn't understand the threat. When an organization plainly states it intent is to wipe Americans (and Israel) from the face of the earth, then follows it up with an attack against us on our mainland that kills 3,000 innocent Americans, you are damned stupid if you don't take it seriously. You guys do not; it the words of one idiot posting here 9/11 was a "lucky shot". That is a literally stupid statement.

The problem, of course, is that the Hard Left is anti-American and believes that America, NOT the jihad against America, is the problem.
