'In Ancient Egypt they believed that if the mummy /body is destroyed then the Osiris statuette can act as an alternative vessel for the spirit.
That would be the foundation of the bodiliy ressurection story in Christianity, Isis was one of the most worshipped gods in the Roman world at the time of Jesus all over the Meditteranean.
Osiris was chief Diety & husband to Isis but dethroned, killed & thrown into the river by the big bully Satan/Set, then found later, ressurrected & revived by the river goddess Isis , who then concieves the all seeing son Horus with him. (God of the Sun & Sky )
That would be the virgin birth story of Christianity, these stories were ancient, well known by all , dating back 2500yrs ,oops that would be 4500yrs when Moses would even be sperm yet, and they DID have laws on not killing. |
