Tim and all,

I thought nobody mentions my Safeway stock anymore. If you ever want to get out of technology stocks, Safeway is always there. (gg). May be Loral qualifies too.

Even Barron's agrees:

Barron's picks Hughes and Loral as satellite plays

NEW YORK, June 14 (Reuters) - Hughes Electronics Corp. (GMH - news) and Loral Space & Communications Ltd. (LOR - news) are a ''safe'' way to invest in the future of satellite communications, according to Barron's.

The cover story in the June 15 edition of Barron's argues that it is much safer to invest in the companies that make satellites rather than the yet-to-be-proven companies fighting to provide satellite service.

''If you feel the urge to bet on the growth of the satellite industry, the safer route would be to focus on the diversified satellite companies, in particular Loral and Hughes,'' the article said.

''Companies seem sure to keep buying satellites, no matter who wins the coming shootout in space,'' it added.
