Thanks Dave, So SONY is working on putting extra heads into the drives via WDC and Quantum, they have the encrypting chip that may be crucial for Hollywood support, they have a suitable encoder. Are these reasons that ReplayTV went with them. Add in GIC stake. Distribution network. Yikes. CUBE- these guys are sounding formidable on this new platform. I think they have a vision. Hope you have something up your sleeve. TiVO!Long live TiVo. A Dvx for every TV made? Wow. At least they think BIG!
