Webb isn't a Democrat-----Webb ran to defeat one of the most liberal Democrats in Northern Virginia in the Primary. He was successful and then beat Republican George Allen by a narrow margin-----because of the use of one word by Allen that no one knew what it meant nor did Allen. Considering the Obama campaign and all of the racist remarks in the Primary-------what George Allen said is of no significance. So Virginia has a Republican regardless of Allen's losing. Looks like the Repubs won this one regardless of the party label.
