Actually I was thinking my transfers might SPEED UP with DMA checked.

What is your computer? Mine's a Abit BH6/Celeron 300A running at 66MHz. Going from 3.2 Western Digital HDD to a 3.2 WD HDD.

How are you launching DI? I'm booting to a floppy and then launching DI which is installed on one of the HDD's.

What is your transfer rate for copying a large file from HDD to HDD?
I get 2.0 MBytes/sec with DMA turned on and 1.5 with it off.

I'm running Win98 and all drives are FAT32.

Can't think of any other variables.
