Ian, sorry I can't give an opinion on selling Puts because I never used that strategy. Besides, I trade mostly inside IRAs (my wife's, children's and my own IRAs) where selling Puts are not allowed. I understand selling Puts is a Bullish strategy where One opens the deal by selling Puts then hopes that the underlying Stock gets higher in price so that when he closes the deal by buying back the Puts, He makes a profit on the difference between the Sale and Purchase prices.

I'd like to study the strategy though so if somebody else could enlighten us further, so much the better. Thanks to You, Brian and Harding(?).
