I think it will be used in surgery for skin closure for multiple specialties. Not everyone closes incisions with staples. In plastics, we very rarely use staples. Ugly scars. Also remember, it's not only how long it takes to put them (or the glue) in, it's having to take all those staples OUT in the office - now that is a pain in the neck. I think that if a simple delivery and approximation system is developed (leave it to J & J), Dermabond will have a huge market. Our annual plastic surgery meeting is being held in San Francisco this Sept - don't know if they will be there or not, but I'll be on the look-out. I'm sure J&J will be there. Regards - Dean.
