Changewave Investing by Tobin Smith.
At first I thought it was a another version of the Gorilla Game with all the catchy words. Know some friends that really espouse the philosophy. Felt I was almost flashbacked to my time-share busting days. Book comes on strong as a cultish religion book.
That's the negative. The positives is that reinforcement of picking hot sectors and strong companies in that sector is a key to success.
Website is handy for seeing what the Wavers have identified as a hot sector. They have put companies in their 8-9 category if that affect it.
Smith preaches open source investing can succeed. My fault with it is that if everyone does it, then big blow up occur.
Not flawless especially with list at end.
Some stocks on the list at the end of 1999.
CMGI $326
KANA $198
MSTR $209
ICGE $200
CTXS $128
ARBA $192
Followers who bought off the recommended list at these prices must be in a coma.
