Falklands Oil Exploration. From "This is London" Tuesday

Flashes in the sky off the stormy Falkland Islands are more likely to mean flashes in the pan
but speculators still piled into Desire Petroleum up 9p to 1871/2p on hopes that Shell has
discovered gas (claimed to be flaring in the night sky) and possibly oil in the South Atlantic.
Other Falkland plays Westmount added 4p to 104p, Greenwich Resources 1/4p to 221/2p
and Swedish Sodra Petroleum 1p to 551/2p.

Well this chap is one jolly Londoner "flashes in the pan", I assume the writer is way up there amongst the heavy weights when it comes to covering oil exploration. What a sad case.
