I agree with you. This reminds me of the days when IBM was selling its "PC Junior" as a "starter" PC, with less functionality. After a couple of years they had to sell them at a discount to employees. I can't see people wanting to go back to the days of the dumb terminal. As for Intel, one analyst in the Tribune said that he thinks chip prices are falling dramatically, because "chips are becoming commodities." Where have I heard that before.
