Management is still spending too much time going to sporting events, hosting golf tournaments that do nothing for shareholders and customers and nobody watches, hosting skiing events, and having meetings at posh resorts and hotels. Coasting again. This happened in the 80's too. Too many menu items again and now trying to run two chains... Wendy's and Hortons. Keep a watchful eye on margins over next few quarters. Look for the marketing folks on golf courses near you and be your own judge. Board members must take action now or responsibility later. Wall Street does not take kindly to rubber chicken board members. (recent Delta shakeup and Dow Jones boards are example). Where is Chainsaw Al? Dave's tv spots need to keep going but need more spice....very boring copy now. Writers seem tired? Never hear anything anymore on tv about their great hamburgers......what is going on inside??
