I'm finding these glimpses into the routine of a bonified 'computer
professional' very enlightening.<g>


Although I meant this just as you took it, namely, absurd
to the point of truth <gg>, please be aware that
it is nevertheless a reasonably accurate characterization.

Good professional designers in any discipline (mine just
happens to be software) do in fact spend hours in states of
near-suspended animation, surfacing only for coffee and
the occasional pizza. Ok, beer too.

If you are one, sorry to tell you what you already know.
In that case, though, you were ingenuous to claim
"enlightenment" and should take this comment as
just desserts ... <ggg>.
