You know what worries me slightly? And this is not a joke.

Notice that on the SI home page it shows the stock price for INSP, their new owners, along with the major indexes. INSP is going down so low that I worry about their ongoing viability. In the event that INSP has to sell out to Yahoo, or just has to look for places to cut costs, one does wonder what happens to SI. SI has already announced some kind of plans to open public boards, presumably because membership money hasn't been enough to get them profitable and they want more ad revenue. But staking your business on internet ad revenue is a dicey proposition at best these days. (Ever notice how many of the banner ads on Yahoo are for Yahoo?)

I guess when an internet concern says you've bought a "lifetime membership", you have to remember to ask, "Whose lifetime?"<G>.
