CeBIT '98, HANNOVER, Germany, March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- FORE Systems, Inc.
(Nasdaq: FORE), a global supplier of networking solutions based on an
Intelligent Infrastructure(TM), and Deutsche Telekom AG announced today that
they have entered into an international reseller agreement.
The strategic agreement will allow the Deutsche Telekom Group to sell FORE
Systems' high-performance asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networking products
worldwide, providing their customers with a complete solution for their
networks. The agreement also allows Deutsche Telekom to use FORE's ATM
technology internally. ATM technology provides the scalability, flexibility
and performance needed to support bandwidth-intensive internet services and
Web access applications, now.
As part of the agreement, Deutsche Telekom has become an Enterprise Plus
Partner, FORE Systems' highest level of certification, which qualifies
Deutsche Telekom to resell the complete product range and offer superior
levels of support and expertise in system design.
