Jorg,

Re: the weapons inspection team left in 1998 after consistently being hindered in the inspection process. How can you ignore such an important fact?

The inspection team was ordered out by Clinton in order for an intense bombing campaign to begin. The reason given for the bombing campaign? Iraqi intransigence. Iraq stated that it was being intransigent in certain aspects of inspection because the U.S. violated the UN guaranteed neutrality of the inspection regime by sending in CIA agents.

So, Jorg, should the Iraqis be punished because the U.S. violated the terms of inspection? Saddam correctly saw that he was being placed in a Catch-22 situation. Your support for the unethical and immoral actions of your government is quite unseemly and also quite lame.
