Perhaps it requires a different user.

Just kidding. I'm not surprised that a position trader would have a trend type daytrading system. I forget the numbers, but trend days are outstripped somewhat by days that swing both up and down.

Anyway, I think the answer is to filter out the trade somehow based on Intraday range or perhaps have a corollary system designed for tight ranges, just so one can confirm the other.

But that in itself is a filter, that's what I mean. Another trigger that tells you that the trade has high or low odds, if only because of the intraday ranges or patterns.
