I don't expect many details from a candidate, but I do expect aid candidate to at least mention the correct causes of, for example, rising malpractice costs. Obama fails to even mention that, blaming malpractice insurers for "overcharging" physicians.

I'm also very irritated at his current stump speech which I feel is totally misleading, and designed to me. He repeatedly suggests that large numbers of people don't have "health care". I'm not sure if he means "health insurance" -- but it is totally misleading because it sounds as though the country is not taking care of its people which is basically false.

There are a few who fall through the cracks, but those numbers are exceptionally small. A person who needs medical attention in this country can pretty much get it.

Obama's speech is typical of a liberal candidate -- running down the country in an effort to get elected. Clinton was an expert at it, with "Its the Economy, stupid" -- when the economy was just fine. Obama is trying it with, "Its the health care stupid".

While his supporters talk about his "optimism", I find it difficult to see how running down the country in an effort to get elected represents "optimism".
