The good news is that we've collected over 270,000 Petitions
to confirm John Ashcroft! Thanks for helping to spread the
word.
The bad news is that People for the American Way has
reportedly collected over 300,000 petitions from liberal
democrats opposing John Ashcroft -- plus they're spending
several hundred thousand dollars taking out full page ads in
tomorrow's newspapers (Jan. 30) demanding the Senate vote
against Ashcroft.
My friend, the vote on John Ashcroft could come as early as
Thursday, February 1st, so I'm asking you to help me step up
the level of support for John Ashcroft.
Over the next 24 to 48 hours, please contact (CALL, E-MAIL
AND FAX) your Senators directly and urge them to vote for
John Ashcroft -- especially the Democrats who are on sitting
on the fence. Ted Kennedy, Chuck Schumer and Hillary
Clinton are all going to vote against Ashcroft no matter
what happens, but there are still many Democrats that can
be swayed -- and you can help make sure they're not swayed
by the People for the American Way.
You can easily obtain their phone numbers and e-mail
addresses at the official U.S. Senate web site
senate.gov
It's a little more time consuming to find their fax numbers
because you need to look up each Senator one a time if you
go to the Senate home page.
If you want to save time -- or if you don't have a fax
machine or the ability to fax from your PC -- you can have
