I read it. Essentially, what you said, is that the only qualification for the office is that you can convince people, by slick talking, to vote for you.
Nope, I said nothing like that. Your problem again is that you are assuming your negative opinion of Obama is a fact. It's not. The people who support him don't share your personal opinion that he is like a used car salesman. They got introduced to him in the same way that they have to all politicians which proceeded him, and they chose him over the others. Just because you have a different opinion (not a fact, your opinion) doesn't make these other voters idiots. And if he wins, it makes you the minority opinion, you become the one who can't differentiate between a winner (Obama) and a loser (Hillary). Get ready to swallow that bitter pill.....
But track records don't lie. The man has no track record, other than his run for office. What track record there is -- his association with Wright, with terrorists, his extreme liberalism -- all disqualify him for the office.
Do you even see the bias in your post? His "track record" is Harvard, a family, and various levels of community service, things which he developed over years and decades. His track record is not the anti-Obama talking points. Let Obama tell you what his track record is, not his enemies.
It's like saying McCain's track record is getting captured, or Hillary's is being cheated on. If you begin your analysis with the things brought up by one's enemies, your conclusion is forgone.
Bush was very successful in his management of the Rangers organization
Managing a baseball team is qualification for the Presidency, but nothing that Obama has done counts. Uhmmmm, OK.
I'm very concerned that he is an anti-American and may be a terrorist sympathizer.
I'm not concerned about those things. You've been watching too much 24.
You would have been a perfect candidate for Jim Jones to bring to Jonestown. You WANT to be led by a slick talker, and all you really care about is his ability to apply the Velvet Voice to get you to do what he wants you to do.
And you underestimate others. Obama supporters disagree with you, and rather than conclude that we are intelligent humans who have come to conclusions different from yours you assume we are easily led fools who are seduced into the unknown by the harpy's magical voice. Nope, that's not how it is. We've assessed our candidates, same as you, and chosen one that you don't like. Get over it. |
