I think I have a couple of answers... As to (1) The R10K debacle. Here's the story as I saw it play out SGI notices a greater number of R10K returns/problems The field is told to look for any common threads, (configs. patches) Two things are found -- (1) some R10K Impact install with no feet (2) a large number of R10K CPU modules are failing a few weeks into their installed life (3) SGI pull the R10K out of production (yow!) until the problem is
