Bob, I know you are dealing with the infrastructure of the new SI but I hope you are able to spend time in the interface & graphics of DEV. prior to Launch.

The " Home - Message Boards - Login - Sign Up" Buttons on Dev. are unclear due to the bolding of the Font and the use of these buttons seems over done. The current links with the orange and blue bar is clean and light. Sure a new design is warranted but I'd recommend getting some professional design & graphics input.

One of the best things about the SI design is the consistency of the message frames and the ability to click "Next" without moving the mouse.

Also I hope you keep the "Subject Marks" link on the message display pages. Better yet, move it down closer or perhaps just above the current " View Next 10 Messages | Previous | Next " Links.

I guess my hope is you will keep it clean, light and focus on details that make it easy to use.

Another area of interest is to know if you might incorporate Googles site search technology in the new version.

Given the historical record you have a more powerful search function would be welcomed. For example being able to search all messages by "User" + "Thread" + "Date Range" + etc. would be valuable for navigating and collecting messages.

Good Luck,
J
