Lots of memories. I certainly remember some of this. I can't stay focused on this all day---however, you are right about their view on women. Gradually it will change I hope. I agree with your last paragraph-----Bush has had so many naysayers. However, I truly was impressed with the photos at Nato when Bush received the announcement of the early hand over to the Iraq government. What I sensed was a strength beyond our knowing. Last year I had a chance to hear one of the people involved in the planned handover at a public forum-----what has happened with the turmoil was not unexpected because of the various faction in Iraq as each struggles for control and power. What was anticipated by most of us was the gruesomness of the terroists etc. Beautiful day today in Virginia----and I thank God for those who serve in the military and as civilians and pray for their families as they do so. mj
