That was apparently the hypothesis - like deep breathing exercises. They said the effect was small but statistically significant. I don't think hard hitting is a good idea due to the irritation. I'd rather take five well-carbureted puffs than one over-toke. JMO - it feels shitty to hit too hard and today, you can easily get "too high" which is unpleasant.
