If you want to talk about "mindless partisanship", all you have to do is look at Congress over the last 8 years. The first 6 of those years the Republicans were trying to ram everything through without ever even bothering with the other side of the isle. In the last 2 years the Republicans have done everything they could to shut down the whole governing process. I think McCain is a reasonable man and a Democratic Congress would be willing to work with him. I'd hope... Eventually somebody's gotta start working with somebody or the whole Country is just gonna continue to self destruct.
