Getting a little anthropomorphic aren't you? I've been stung by poor VW performance as well. The "best predictor" in a statistical-behavioral context is the concept to grasp.

But, let me change "performance" as I used it, to "human behavior" in the S-R sense -- thus reducing the liberal-confusion coefficient and more closely defining the logical field.

I really thought "performance" was a less aggressive term. But, "behavior" is a term befitting Clinton and Teddy, so I guess it will fit Kerry with equal dignity.

Prove your assumption that Bush is doing badly without resorting to cliché, if you can.
