Janice and Tom, I may not make myself clear in my post. I would never advocate the censorship and I am not interested in the politics. I really meant that study on the information age on ordinary people is more interesting than on the revolution of telecommunications technology. My work is directly involved in the revolution: making it possible for ordinary household to have the access capabilities with high speed to services such as telephony, video, and data. It is called broadband access system or another term: switched data service. My colleagues and I often wonder what people are going to do with so much information: watching over 100 channels TVs all day long, confusing themselves with conflicting information, or being addicted to the net surfing, etc. I think a social scholar can find tons of interesting stories about information impact on people's life. Investing in Iomega can be a very good candidate in such a study. But as for the public policy, at least an education on how to handle the information will have to be done.

Anyway, let's get back to Iomega. I have been accumulating the stock when the price was on its way down. Now I hope it is the time for me to celebrate my independent thinking. I often compare Iomega with Netscape. The two stocks have had very similar rides but with two very different fundamentals. So I am convinced that Iomega will have very good chance to go much higher, higher than the present peak. And it may not take very long.
