I notice that Compaq has announced that a "major strategic" statement or plan will be made of the same day as their earnings announcement. I think that their earnings must be spectacular for them to make an early announcement and announce a strategic shift on the same day. I wouldn't announce a major new plan on the same day I reported poor earnings. - Just a thought.
