Like nobody knew this before it hit the wires after the close.


-- S&P MidCap 400 component TECO Energy (NYSE: TE chart, msgs) will replace Global
Crossing Ltd. (NYSE: GX chart, msgs) in the S&P 500 Index after the close of
trading on Tuesday, October 9, 2001. Global Crossing is being removed
for lack of representation. Philip Morris (NYSE: MO chart, msgs) will replace
Global Crossing in the S&P 100 Index.
